The Right User Interface for Your Industry The TruMarket user interface can be fully customized to best suit the users of your online marketplace. TruMarket's "pluggable" UI architecture means that the front-end can be modified or completely replaced without affecting back-end functionality. The Most Powerful Bid/Ask Engine Available TruMarket's bid/ask support is still the most comprehensive and powerful offering available, with underlying functionality that has been in development for over 2 years. With native support for multi-attribute matching, multiple clearing models, our integrated patent-pending Commodity Filter, and a NASDAQ Level II-style interface, TruMarket's bid/ask capabilities drive a new level of liquidity and efficiency to online markets, vastly surpassing traditional catalog and bulletin-board-style systems as the most effective mechanism for commodity and near-commodity trading.
Modified Structured Negotiations Even in the most liquid and open markets, users still need to negotiate and create counter offers in the system. The Modified Structured Negotiation feature of TruMarket allows for one-to-one or many-to-one negotiations on a per attribute basis. Counteroffers can be private (targeted to particular users or organizations) or public (reflected in the open market) depending on user or marketplace preference.
Attribute-based matching engine At the core of TruMarket is a powerful attribute processing engine for creating, viewing, and matching orders. Because each order defines a buyer or seller's precise preferences, buyers and sellers can find each other more reliably and complete their transactions more efficiently. TruMarket also supports a variety of exchange-defined matching rules and algorithms, including price-time, pro-rata, and other models. User-defined views keep information relevant TruMarket uses TruExchange's patent-pending Commodity Filter and Quantity Filter technologies to enable participants to see only the most relevant "slices" of the marketplace and to spend less time searching. The Commodity Filter enables the real time view of a live marketplace that best fits the order and product characteristics desired by that user. These can be defined as broadly or as narrowly as the user desires.
The Quantity Filter provides powerful, automatic aggregation across orders from multiple buyers and sellers.
Full support is included for a range of sophisticated dynamic pricing options, including price-time mappings to allow orders to change their price according to a specified time schedule, and price-quantity mappings to enable integrated quantity discounts.
A unique combination of processes allowing buyers and sellers to participate automatically in the dynamic marketplace, even if they are not active market "traders," Market Hunter can also automatically generate RFQs and literally seek out dormant market members to draw them to the active marketplace. This can be done via email, fax, phone, or other communications protocols. Special broker-enabling functionality such as order queuing and bundling, buy-sell triggers, and user-specific pricing rules enable brokers to best transition their existing business to online markets without giving up the flexibility that playing the middleman affords them.
TruMarket offers full support for both integrated and private-labeled (with a customized corporate name, logo, and color scheme) trading rooms. These separate trading areas allow linked orders that are dual-listed in both a private and public trading room (with the capability for different prices in each). Private Trading Rooms can be individually managed by an exchange-specified owner, who has control over user access, trade placement, and other room behavior.
Personal Portfolio & Order Templates Users can maintain both an online personal portfolio, or "virtual catalog" of items that they intend to trade in the market and order templates - placeholders for frequently-used orders to save time during order placement.
Orders can be placed in users' local currencies, and the matching engine will automatically match the transactions appropriately, provided that exchange rate information is available. |
